Our Process

ECS has an EECD process: Evaluate, Extract, Clean, Dry
Evaluation
Our first step is to conduct an initial site evaluation. As trained professionals, ECS works to understand the nature of water damage before determining the best course of action. Determining the type of water damage is critical to success. Read more about it here.
**Before our site evaluation, it is critical to identify the source of the water and stop it. Your local plumber will be able to help with this.**
We then develop a scope of work, site sketch, and estimated cost. Upon approval of the scope of work and estimated cost, a work schedule is developed.
Extract
Using our state-of-the-art equipment, ECS will extract the water from your home. We can also extract items out of your home that need to be taken to a facility for further drying.
Clean
We clean: rugs and flooring including carpet, tile, vinyl, wood, and concrete,
We do not clean: upholstery, electronics, garments – we can help extract these items and take them to a secure facility for further drying.
If deemed necessary, our technicians will disinfect the area.
Dry
We dispatch our fans and dehumidifiers to begin the drying process, which typically takes between two and five days. Using water metering technology to determine the progress, we stay on site until the structure has been completely dried.
Fires can be life altering events. Not only can your home or business experience damage, hard to remove odors and ash are typically present.
Our ECS experts will guide you through the restoration process to bring your structure back to normal. ECS will work directly with your insurance agency to help give peace of mind through this difficult time.
Quick response time is imperative and our emergency response team will work quickly to minimize the damage caused by soot residue. We work with our network of contractors to provide a start to finish solution.
Our trained technicians begin by boarding up the current structure to secure the remains of the property. Items that can be cleaned on site will be cleaned on site and the remainder will be inventoried and taken to a secure facility for further cleaning until the restoration process is complete. We will continue to clean and combat odors until the structure is once again inhabitable.
Advantages of duct cleaning:
Our duct cleaning services extend to:
Our Air Duct Cleaning Process
ECS cleans the return AND the supply side of your HVAC system!
Our process
We start the process with the return side, which typically contains more debris. We isolate the duct work at the filter and connect our HEPA filtered vacuum. With air tools and rotary brushes we clean the return side, starting with the farthest point from the filter and work toward the filter until the return side cleaning is complete. After visual inspection of the system to ensure cleanliness, we duplicate the process on the supply side. All debris is collected in the HEPA vacuum and is disposed of offsite. When done with air cleaning, we sanitize the entire HVAC system with an EPA anti-microbial sanitizer.
Our Dryer Vent Cleaning Process
First, we start the dryer to check the condition of the air flow and conduct a visual inspection of both ends of the vents. We start on the inside of the home by removing the vent from the dryer and connect the HEPA vacuum to the vent and remove debris. This process is complete once there are no visible signs of debris. We then head outside and remove the louver or dryer vent cap and connect our HEPA vac to the system. We turn the vacuum and dryer on simultaneously to remove all remaining debris. All debris is collected in the HEPA vacuum and is disposed of offsite.
While most companies start in residential and work their way into the industrial arena, ECS has roots in industry. We have helped dozens of the area’s top manufacturing and distribution companies with services such as:
We work with facility and site safety managers to develop appropriate and safe scopes of work to ensure jobs are completed safely and in a timely fashion.
When dealing with mold, moisture control is critical. To combat mold growth means controlling moisture, and while there are common sources of moisture sometimes mold can grow in places you cannot see. With the ECS partner network, we conduct preliminary mold testing to identify the presence and type of mold. Once test results are returned, we work with you to remediate the problem and rid your structure of potentially hazardous mold
